Kratom (Mitragyna Speciosa) has a long history of use and is known for its paradox effects: very relaxing – and yet the experimentee is full of energy. Nowadays the leaves of the Kratom tree are chewed as an opiate substitute and stimulant in Thailand and South East Asia. The Kratom Thai variety is much more energetic than others.
Kratom leaves contain Mitragynine, which has a stimulating, yet relaxing effect in smaller doses. Higher doses induce an opiate-like effect.
The recommended regular dose for an experience is 5-10gr. The dried leaves can be chewed and eaten or added to hot water or tea.
